Eligibility

Candidates should have passed ALL subjects in the Academic stream of the Qualifying Examination with 10+2 years of schooling under the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Tamil Nadu / Central Board of Secondary Education / Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations / other State Government Boards / recognized international boards (subject eligibility applies) for admission into the B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture course.

B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture – Cutoff Marks

  • OC – 55%
  • BC & BCM – 50%
  • MBC & DNC – 45%
  • SC & ST – A Pass

Seats – B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture (166 Students)

Out of the total seats, 65% (108 seats) will be admitted through the TNAU Single Window System, and the remaining 35% (58 seats) will be filled by management as per eligibility norms.

Scholarship Details

  1. Community Scholarship: SC/SCA/SSC/ST students (both government and management quota) receive approximately Rs. 63,500.
  2. Puthumai Penn Scheme: Rs. 1,000/month* for female students (6–12th Govt Tamil Medium / Govt English Medium / Govt Aided Tamil Medium).
  3. Tamizh Pudhalvan Scheme: Rs. 1,000/month* for male students (6–12th Govt Tamil Medium / Govt English Medium / Govt Aided Tamil Medium).
  4. 7.5% Counselling Seat (Tamil Medium):
    a. Tuition + Mess Fees covered by the Government (approx. Rs. 95,000).
    b. Remaining charges (approx. Rs. 80,000/year) to be paid by the student.
  5. First Graduate Scholarship: Rs. 20,000 per year for eligible students.
