College of Agriculture

Established in 2017, it is a leading institution offering a 4-year B.Sc., (Hons.) Agriculture degree program. The college is affiliated with the prestigious Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) and is dedicated to providing high-quality education in agricultural sciences. Located in a serene rural setting at Illuppur, Pudukkottai District, MTCA is just 15 km from Viralimalai and easily accessible from Trichy. Spread across 147 acres, the campus offers a diverse agricultural landscape comprising wetlands, drylands, garden land, orchards, a botanical garden, agroforestry areas, and a medicinal plant garden—providing students with hands-on exposure to real-time farming practices and ecological diversity. With a strong emphasis on academic excellence and practical learning, MTCA prepares students to become competent agri-professionals, researchers, and entrepreneurs equipped to meet the future challenges of Indian agriculture.
