The department offers regular and optional courses, as well as project work to students. Our campus has its own protective structures, such as glass houses, shade nets, poly houses, and mist chambers.
Vegetable crops such as cauliflower, tomatoes, cucumbers, and cabbage were grown in poly houses. Ornamental plants are raised and maintained in shade net. Various kinds of medicinal plants have been maintained in the medical yard for study purposes.
There are several varieties of mango, sapota, acid lime, guava, coconut, aonla, ber, cashew nut, jamun, custard apple, and water apple grown in the orchard. Additionally, we maintain a small orchard with mango and sapota trees in front of our campus.
